November 2019 Newsletter

Greetings all!

We just today completed a really nourishing and inspiring first cycle of the Foundations of Ritual online course. Big thanks to everyone who participated for your presence and contributions!

Lots happening this month with the ancestors online course, lineage healing intensives, and a new scholarship fund.....

This will be the third run of the ancestors course and we have it really refined, including with 14 live conferences, small group break-outs led by people trained in the work, and lots of extra resources and ways to connect. Live, free Q&A this Wednesday (4:30pm Eastern U.S. time) if you're considering stepping in. Folks from previous years are welcome back for the 14 live conferences and other happenings at $75 (link here).

As the application period moves toward closure for the 2020 Ancestral Healing Practitioner Training, we're excited to share our Scholarship for BIPOC Ancestral Healing Trainees. Thanks to generous donors we're close to halfway to our goal for the first retreat in March! Your generosity makes a big difference; please consider even a modest donation.

North American ancestral lineage healing intensives are coming up in Brooklyn, Portland, and Charlottesville and for Australians with ancestors in Sydney and Melbourne. Toronto and Asheville are currently waitlist. Thanks to everyone who made recent intensives in Asheville, Calgary, Victoria, Minneapolis, and Berkeley so great and big respect to all the teachers and supporters rocking the work this past year.

Thanks to everyone bringing your best self forward even when it's not well received or tough to sustain. May you feel deeply resourced by your ancestors, the Earth and the old powers. Ethics and kindness hold the world together. You're not alone.

Warmly,

Daniel

Nov 28, 2019 - Mar 16, 2020
Join Daniel in a live Q&A session to find out more:

Ancestral lineage healing refers to a process of coming into direct relationship with one’s recent and more ancient blood ancestors for personal, family, and cultural healing. This course provides a through and effective step-by-step approach to working with your specific lineage ancestors for this healing intention.

There’s no need for a spiritual calling, specific belief system, or prior experience with the ancestors to participate. All with ancestors, known and unknown, are warmly welcome.

Ancestral Lineage Healing Intensives
Australia, Canada & U.S.

In-person intensives provide a potent and focused experience for depth work in ancestral lineage healing within a three-day long ritual container, Friday - Sunday full days. Whether you're a beginner or are already in conscious relationship with your ancestors, intensives meet you where you're at with the work, and we always offer ample scholarships and payment plans.

2020 Ancestral Healing Practitioner Training
The application process is still open for the fourth Ancestral Healing Practitioner Training, and the final deadline is December 31st, 2019.
Online Teaching and Q&A on Ancestral Healing

All are warmly welcome to this two-hour ritual teaching and discussion. Emphasis will be on supporting folks already engaged in this approach to ancestral healing.

Implications of ancestral healing work for working with cultural troubles (e.g., sexism, racism, colonialism, earth disconnection) will be a thematic focus for this teaching, and we’ll also do a bit of dropped in practice/ancestral engagement in our shared time. Particular thanks to Anna Dorian and her students for their interest in the work and being a catalyst for setting up this open-to-all offering.

If it’s helpful to hear a bit about cultural healing elements of the ancestral work that aren’t emphasized in the book,
here’s an interview (especially at 18:00 into the talk) and there are others in the media section. I’ll speak to a few principles then follow your questions, so come prepared to ask about what’s alive for you in your practice.

Fundraiser for BIPOC Practitioner Trainees
This fundraiser will run Nov 2019 - Oct 2020 and 100% of funds will support BIPOC trainees in the 2020 Ancestral Healing Practitioner Training. This is a vocational training in ritual and cultural healing arts that will support trainees to serve their respective communities and beyond. We understand that ancestry is not the only factor in systemic disadvantage; however, as this aspect of our work is explicitly focused on ancestral healing, we wish to proactively support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color participants who express interest in this offer of assistance. For context 2020 BIPOC trainees are African, Asian, Latino, and First Nations/Native American, Black South African, Aboriginal Australian, and Singaporean.

Lots of free podcasts, interviews, and videos

We have an extensive archive of free media featuring Daniel's teachings as well as some interviews with guest teachers. We are continuing to build these resources, which cover a range of topics on all things ancestors, animism, ritual, and Earth reconnection.
